Brooke Reeves is a recent high school graduate who says she has been searching for a job for three years, but has had no luck.

“Any kind of job opening, I was like ‘pick me!’ and still to this day, I’m still putting in applications, still getting no calls back,” Reeves said.

While the extra cash would be helpful, Reeves said it’s about more than the money. She said she wants a job to help her gain work experience.

“If you want to get a better job, you need experience to work up to that,” Reeves said. “But you can’t get a job unless you have experience. So, it’s kind of a vicious cycle.”
