CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Carbondale area teens now have a great opportunity to show their artistic side.
The Carbondale Public Library is inviting all Carbondale area teens to join them in creating a community-driven piece of artwork for display at the library.
Local artist, Derrick Glenn, will be on-hand to work with teens every Tuesday from 4 – 5 pm throughout the months of February and March to create multiple pieces.
These individual pieces of art will then be brought together by the artists to create a three-dimensional collage.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Carbondale Community Arts and the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
