University mall open Black Friday, offers Holiday Survival Kit | Business

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - The University Mall in Carbondale will open at midnight on Friday, November 23.

According to the mall, the first 200 shoppers at the main entrance will receive a Holiday Survival Kit.

The kit will include:

• Shopping List - To jot down your Christmas gifts to look for at University Mall
• Relaxing CD - Soothing music to listen to while wrapping gifts
• Hot Chocolate - To calm, relax and soothe away tension
• Penny - So Christmas shopping doesn’t leave you penniless
• Coupons - To take advantage of the great deals at University Mall
• Flashlight - To find your way to University Mall
• Holiday Hours Magnet - FYI - Extended shopping hours
• Marble - In case you lose all of yours
• Paperclip - To keep it together this holiday season
• Gift Card - To say Thank You for shopping at University Mall

Starting on Friday, Nov, 23 through Sunday, Dec. 23, shoppers will be able to enter to win a Disney Family Vacation. The Walt Disney World Vacation for a family of 4 includes: 3 Nights ‘accommodations at Disney's brand new Art of Animation Resort, four 4-Day “Magic Your Way” park passes and Disney’s “Magic Your Way” dining plan.  Each time a shopper spends $50 at a University Mall store, they will be eligible to enter for a chance to win.
