Friends of Murphysboro selling engraved bricks for Remembrance Walk
MURPHYSBORO, IL (KFVS) - The Friends of Murphysboro are still selling engraved bricks for the Remembrance Walk at Riverside Park.
The walkway was installed in November 2011 and is a tribute to all veterans that have served the United States of America.
If you would like to honor a veteran, you can contact Sarah Davenport at SarahNat05@yahoo.com to receive an order form. Engraved, three-line bricks with 16 characters per line are $100, installed.
According to FOM, they must sell at least 25 bricks before the installation of bricks. You can get your order in by Aug. 15 for the bricks to be installed before the fall.
