'Naked Yard Sale,' food drive scheduled for Sept. 22 | Community Spirit

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ will have their annual “Naked Yard Sale” on Saturday, September 22 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The "Naked Yard Sale" includes household items and homemade baked items, but no clothing. It will be at 515 South Orchard Drive in Carbondale.
The church says all are welcome to donate items, attend the event to purchase items and bring non-perishable food items for the Good Samaritan Food Pantry at the time of donation or on the day of the event.
You may drop off yard sale and food pantry donations the week before the sale at the following times: Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 6-8 pm or Thursday, Sept. 20 from 3-8 pm.
A portion of funds raised will assist the church’s youth to visit the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis this fall.
