Jackson Co. MRC to hold orientation meeting Oct. 18 | Community Spirit

JACKSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - The Jackson County Medical Reserve Corps will hold a quarterly orientation meeting October 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Any resident of Jackson County, or surrounding counties, that would like to learn more information about volunteering to prepare for and respond to public health emergencies is encouraged to attend. The meeting will be held at the Jackson County Health Department, 415 Health Department Road in Murphysboro, in the rear building.

According to the health department, the orientation is for informational purposes only and attendees are not obligated to join.

The Jackson County MRC was established in 2010 and currently has 29 volunteer members.
