Golf scramble Nov. 12 in Carbondale to benefit veterans | Community Spirit

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - The Carbondale Park District and Hickory Ridge Senior Golf Association is offering a nine hole post-Veteran's Day Golf Scramble on Monday, November 12.

The scramble will be at the Hickory Ridge Golf Course. A luncheon will be at noon, followed by the tee-off at 1 p.m. Entry fee is $50 per golfer or $200 for a four-person team.

Proceeds will benefit the Veteran's Hospital in Marion and/or the Veteran's Home in Anna.

Organizers say entry fees should be made payable to the Carbondale Park District/Veteran's Outing. Anyone who wishes to participate in the outing is invited to play. There will be no team prizes, just golf and good fun. If you do not play golf and wish to contribute to the scramble, please submit a tax exempt donation payable to the Carbondale Park District/Veterans Outing to:
