String band to present 'Old Timey Christmas' Dec. 15 | Community Spirit

MURPHYSBORO, IL (KFVS) - The second annual "Old Timey Christmas" at the General John A. Logan Museum will feature Murphysboro's Smoky Hollow String Band on Saturday, December 15 at 7 p.m.

The band will play carols and fiddle tunes with banjo, guitar, fiddles, mandolin, percussion and washtub bass. They will also sing humorous and sentimental songs starting at 7 p.m. in the gallery of the museum.

Tickets are $10 at the door, $8 in advance, free for children 12 and under and will be available at the museum. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the museum.
