Carbondale library to host Teen Poetry Blowout Dec. 10 | Community Spirit

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - The Carbondale Public Library will host Teen Poetry Blowout Monday, December 10 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The program will be taught by Philip Martin, a graduate student from Southern Illinois University's English Department. Teens will be introduced to new poems and poets; encouraged to share their own poetry; and gain solid writing skills in fun and interesting ways.

Participants must be at least 12 years of age to attend. There is no sign up or registration.
