Carbondale Chamber of Commerce names new executive director
CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - The Carbondale Chamber of Commerce announced they have hired a new executive director.
Les O'Dell will be the new executive director, effective Feb. 4. O'Dell holds two degrees from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and has more than 20 years of experience in the Carbondale business community; including retail management, customer service, organizational leadership and communications.
The Chamber says he replaces Sherry Taylor, who left the post Jan. 17 to take a job in Cincinnati, Ohio.
