JALC Annual Trivia Contest Feb. 22 | Community Spirit

CARTERVILLE, IL (KFVS) - The John A. Logan College Literacy Staff announced their Annual Trivia Contest Fund will be Friday, February 22.

The trivia contest will be at the Carterville Community Center, 120 North Greenbriar Road (located in Cannon Park). Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the  contest will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The cost to play is $15 per player with up to eight players to a team or $120 per team. All proceeds will benefit literacy students throughout the JALC district.

According to college staff, there will be eight categories with 10 questions in each category. A question will be asked and each team will be given two minutes to work together to provide an answer. This means no one person is responsible for the answers, it is a team effort. After answering all the questions, team points will be added and the team with the most points wins. Answers will be determined by a panel of experienced trivia judges for accuracy and to resolve any conflicts.
