100 Men Who Cook event in Carbondale raises over $60,000 | Community Spirit
CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Old National's fourth annual 100 Men Who Cook in Carbondale raised $62,799 on June 1.
The money raised will go to the Rotary Clubs of Carbondale, Carterville and Marion.
Over the last four years, the Carbondale 100 Men Who Cook event has raised nearly $183,000 to benefit the Boys and Girls Club, Kiwanis Clubs of Carbondale and Marion and Rotary Clubs of Carbondale, Carterville and Marion.
"This event is always a great team effort," said Jeff Speith, Southern Illinois Region president. "Our Old National associates, non-profit organizations, business leaders and community members all come together and really enjoy supporting this community event. It's something we look forward to every year."
Charity Lantagne, administrative assistant, served as the chair of the event working with a committee of 17 to execute the many facets of this fundraiser.
