Man arrested in connection with Carbondale burglary | Crime
CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Carbondale police arrested a man Tuesday in connection with a burglary.
Charles Keene, 49, was charged with residential burglary, criminal trespass to residence and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
On Tuesday, Oct. 8, police responded to a home in the 400 block of South University Avenue for a report of a home burglary.
Police say they learned the suspect entered the unlocked home while the victim was home and stole property at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7 before running off. Officers found and arrested the suspect, identified as Keene.
