Police arrest 1, search for another in connection with Carbondale burglary | Crime
CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Carbondale police arrest one man and look for another in connection with a burglary on Saturday, June 16.
Police responded to the 500 block of North Oakland Avenue at 1:45 a.m. on Saturday in reference to a report of a burglary in progress. Officers learned two black males were seen entering a home.
According to police, officers found and arrested one suspect, Montez A. Miller, inside the home and another suspect ran and could not be found.
Miller, 20, was charged with residential burglary and taken to the Jackson County Jail.
Police say during the course of the investigation, the second suspect was identified as 18-year-old Charvell K. Miller. They say they have a warrant for his arrest.
