Carbondale police look for woman they believe used a forged check | Crime

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - The Carbondale Police Department is looking for a woman suspected of using a forged check at a store.

According to police, on July 24 they responded to a report of a forgery at a business in the 1400 block of East Main Street. During the investigation, they learned a suspect bough items using a forged check from the victim's account.

Police say the suspect is described as a black female. They say the investigation is ongoing.
