Carbondale man charged with burglary | Crime
CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - A Carbondale man was arrested October 13 after police say he broke into a home and stole property.
Dominique C.C. Robinson, 20, was charged with residential burglary and taken to the Jackson County Jail.
According to the Carbondale Police Department, they responded to a home in the 500 block of West College Street Oct. 13 in reference to a report of a burglary in progress. Officers say they learned unknown suspects entered the home and stole property some time around 8:35 p.m. and then left the scene.
Police say a witness described the males, who were found by officers a short distance away. Police were able to identify the men as Robinson and a 16-year-old and arrested them. The juvenile was also charged with residential burglary.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
