3 men arrested on drug charges in Carbondale | Crime
CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Carbondale Police arrested three men November 20 on drug charges.
Jerrel T. Stockstill, 24, from Mound City; David Stockstill, 24, from Mound City; and Demetry J. Allen, 31, from Carbondale were charged with possession and intent to distribute over 1,000 grams of marijuana. They were taken to the Jackson County Jail.
According to police, officers were on foot patrol around 4:55 p.m. on Nov. 20 in the area of the 300 block of Robinson Circle when they smelled illegal drugs coming from inside an apartment. During the investigation, officers made contact with the three men as they were leaving the apartment.
Officers say they received a signed consent to search the apartment and found scales, a handgun, over $2,5000 in cash and other evidence.
