Carbondale police look for suspect they say took merchandise from a business | Crime

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Carbondale police are searching for a suspect they say took merchandise on a display case from a business on East Main Street.

On Nov. 26 police say the received a report of a retail theft in the 1200 block of East Main Street. During the investigation, officers learned a suspect took the merchandise on a display case on Nov. 26 around 12:10 p.m.

Police say the suspect is described as a white man wearing a blue jacket with the Superman logo. They say the suspect left the business in a black Jeep Liberty.

They say the investigation is ongoing.
