2 arrested in Carbondale after attempted home robbery | Crime
CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Two Carbondale men were arrested Monday after police received a report of a home burglary in progress.
Antoine Hunter, 36, and Kaelan D. Posey, 21, were charged with attempted residential burglary and criminal damage to property.
Carbondale police responded to the home in the 500 block of South Poplar Street around 9:40 a.m. on Monday. Officers say they learned two suspects were seen entering the a home. During the investigation, officers say they found and identified the suspects as Hunter and Posey.
Police say Hunter was arrested on an active warrant. Both were taken to the Jackson County Jail.
