Carbondale woman sentenced to 3 years for violating no contact order | Crime
CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - A Carbondale woman was sentenced to three years behind bars for violating no stalking/no contact orders.
Martha Schouest-Donvito, 51, of Carbondale was sentenced to three years for two counts of violation of no stalking/no contact order.
Carbondale police responded to an area of South Giant City Road and Meadowbrook Lane on Feb. 26, 2012 regaring a complaint that Schouest-Donvito was yelling threats and obscenities at neighbors.
Active no stalking/no contact orders prohibited any contact by Schouest-Donvito with those neighbors.
She was arrested on Feb. 26.
Schouest-Donvito was convicted in a jury trial on Feb. 4, 2013.
