Jackson County state's attorney announces sentences on 4 crimes | Crime
CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Jackson County State's Attorney Michael C. Carr announced several suspects were sentenced recently for various crimes.
Tyree McQueen-Johnson, 21, of Carbondale was sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the illegal sale of two firearms. McQueen-Johnson told police he sold two stolen shotguns for $300.
Orlando N. Clark, 37, of Carbondale was sentenced to two four year terms to the Illinois Department of Corrections for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. Clark pleaded guilty to delivering cocaine to a confidential source.
Jesse D. Caraway, 34, of Carbondale was convicted of driving while license suspended. He was released on $300 bond pending sentencing.
Jeremy Westmoreland, 24, of Anna was sentenced to 18 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for armed robbery. Westmoreland admitted to police he was involved in the armed robbery with of knife of Ron's One Stop. His sentence will run concurrent with a similar sentence from Union County on charges of home invasion.
