Murphysboro H.S. students to host auto show to benefit ACS | Events

MURPHYSBORO, IL (KFVS) - Students at Murphysboro High School will be getting creative to raise money for the American Cancer Society with an auto show.

On Saturday, May 5 students be washing cars, boats, bikes, tractors, lawn mowers, etc. from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for donations in the Murphysboro High School parking lot.

Registration for the auto show starts at 10 a.m. and the show will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The entry fee to "rent" a spot is $15 and all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

The money raised will go to the American Cancer Society to help eliminate cancer in Southern Illinois.
