Weather radio programming for Severe Weather Preparedness Week
JACKSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Illinois is set for March 3-9.
As part of that, the Jackson County Emergency Management Agency along with local fire departments will be in different area locations helping program weather radios.
The locations and times are:
Ava - Thursday, March 7, 9 to 11 a.m. at the Ava Fire Station
DeSoto - Monday, March 4, 1 to 3 p.m. at the DeSoto Fire Station
Dowell - Wednesday, March 6, 9 to 11 a.m at 215 Union Ave.
Makanda - Wednesday, March 6, 1 to 3 p.m. at the Makanda Fire Station #1
