SIU student killed in early morning crash | News
MURPHYSBORO, IL (KFVS)-
Murphysboro police are investigating a deadly car crash.
Matthew T. Coleman, 26, of Carbondale was killed early Monday morning when he was thrown from his vehicle on Walnut Street just west of County Club Road, according to the Jackson County Coroner's Office.
Police say the car was heading east, ran off Walnut, crossed the westbound lanes, hit an embankment and overturned.
Coleman was a student at Southern Illinois University.
