The Southern Illinois Drug Task Force busted a Murphysboro gas station for synthetic drugs Tuesday afternoon.

MURPHYSBORO, IL (KFVS)- The Southern Illinois Drug Task Force busted a Murphysboro gas station for synthetic drugs Tuesday afternoon.

Officers removed several evidence bags full of synthetic drugs from the Citgo gas station at 602 Walnut Street.

The bags will be sent to the Illinois State Police crime lab for analysis which will submit a report to the Jackson County State's Attorney's Office.

No arrests have been made.

Agents with the Internal Revenue Service were on the scene.

Several state and local law enforcement agencies work together in this case.
