New website, mobile app available for SIU students | News

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - A new website and mobile app are available for Southern Illinois University students.

LifeatSouthern.com is a new platform that people in Carbondale use to search, create and promote any type of event for free. Life at Southern has created one centralized place to promote and discover events for students at SIU.

Student organizations may post monthly events, fundraising opportunities, or Greek events. LifeatSouthern.com provides one online location for students to discover events going on in Carbondale and on campus. Students can easily access information for upcoming concerts, charity events, restaurants, RSO events and much more.

“We believe college is about your experience, and with our platform it’s even easier to make the most of that experience. Our goal is pretty simple, and that’s to demonstrate the activity on our campus, promoting what our organizations and campus really have going on.
