What can you make if vegetarians or vegans are coming to dinner?
Please join Vegan Fusion certified instructor Kathy Ward at Neighborhood Co-op Grocery from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 for a cooking class that will help you find simple, tasty and healthy answers to these questions.
The class will provide plenty of tastings and delicious recipes for vegans and for those who would like serve healthy plant-based foods for their Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Christmas, and Kwanza meals.
With seasonal vegetables, you will learn how to make beverages/nogs, appetizers and salads.
You’ll also learn how to re-make classic casseroles and soups, sweet potatoes, gravy and stuffing.
They will move beyond Tofurky to other main dishes, soups and sides.
