Justin returned Oct. 5, 2010 from serving in Afghanistan. He was injured with an AK47 round to the helmet on Sept. 5, 2010. We are very blessed to have him home with us. He’s receiving treatment at the VA facility in Sikeston for issues sustained from that injury. He is employed at the corporate AT&T store in Sikeston and enjoys spending as much time with his family and friends as he possibly can.

Patriotic Sundays
My church does a patriotic Sunday each June to honor veterans. As a small country church, we had a large percentage of farm boys who went and served their country then came back home to the farm in the 40s, 50s and 60s.
