(KFVS) - The winner of our 2012 Garden Competition is Cyrus Porter, 91, from New Madrid, Mo.

Porter tends to the garden on his own, from tilling to planting, weeding, irrigating and harvesting.

Viewers submitted pictures of what they thought the best garden in the Heartland is. The past week, viewers have been voting on the pictures.

Porter wins four tickets to a Southern Illinois Miners home game.
